AlphaGraphics North Liberty has acquired Goodfellow Printing of Iowa City, effective March 5, with the deal expanding the North Liberty company’s footprint in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids Corridor.
AlphaGraphics North Liberty owner Dennis Tallman said the acquisition will provide Goodfellow’s customers with uninterrupted service along with access to additional capabilities, including large-format graphics, signage, direct mail marketing, promotional products, custom-branded apparel and company store solutions.
“We are pleased to continue service to Goodfellow’s customers and build upon the strong relationships Bob, Brad, and their team have developed over the years,” Tallman said. “Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition while providing additional resources, expanded capabilities, and the responsive local service businesses depend on.”
AlphaGraphics North Liberty will assume production, customer service and account management responsibilities for Goodfellow’s clients. The company has operated in the Corridor since 2008 and serves small- to mid-sized businesses, nonprofits, healthcare organizations, manufacturers and educational institutions across Eastern Iowa.
Bob Goodfellow said he was confident in the transition to local ownership.
“We are incredibly happy to have a local, family owned and operated company continue to serve our customers,” he said. “AlphaGraphics has a similar culture and an excellent reputation throughout the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids corridor. I am confident our customers will be well cared for and will benefit from the additional services and technology AlphaGraphics brings to the table.”
Goodfellow Printing customers will receive direct communication with updated contact information and next steps.
