Several Corridor companies have been recognized as Iowa Top Workplaces, with at least two earning the honor for the 12th consecutive year.

Clickstop Inc., an e-commerce company based in Urbana, and Honkamp, a CPA and business advisory firm with offices in Cedar Rapids, Coralville and Hiawatha, both received the honor for the 12th time in 2025.

Baker Group, an Ankeny-based specialty contractor with a location in Cedar Rapids, was recognized for the ninth consecutive year.

Clickstop was ranked ninth among mid-sized companies in Iowa at the awards event in Altoona.

The Top Workplaces awards are based on employee feedback collected through confidential surveys administered by Energage, an employee engagement platform. The survey measures multiple workplace culture drivers including alignment, execution and connection.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” Energage CEO Eric Rubino said in a release. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

Tim Guenther, CEO of Clickstop, said the recognition reflects the company’s approach to employee investment.

“We are incredibly proud to be named a Top Workplace for the 12th time,” Mr. Guenther said. “This recognition reflects the power of our people-first approach. When we invest in the growth and well-being of our employees, they invest in building a business that’s stronger, more resilient, and deeply aligned to our mission.”

Lisa Schmidt, director of people and talent at Honkamp, said employees are the reason for the company’s success.

“Our people are the reason for our success,” Schmidt said. “So it’s truly humbling to see our people reflect that back with this honor.”

Cindi Summers, Baker Group chief human resources officer, said the recognition reflects the team’s dedication.

“At Baker Group, our people are the foundation of everything we do,” Ms. Summers said. “This ninth year of recognition reflects the strength, passion, and dedication of our team. Their commitment to our customers, our colleagues, and our communities is what makes Baker Group a truly exceptional place to work.”

Founded in 2005, Clickstop operates five brands including its flagship, US Cargo Control, and employs more than 225 people.

Honkamp supports employee growth through training programs, education initiatives and performance management, and also offers a Summer Friday program.

Baker Group, founded in 1963, has more than 1,100 employees across the Midwest and recently opened a regional office in Fort Dodge scheduled to celebrate its grand opening Sept. 30.
