UScellular donated $5,000 worth of electronics, furniture, art supplies, sports equipment and games to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor Friday afternoon, Dec. 5 at the Olivet Unit in Cedar Rapids.
The donation marks the third consecutive year UScellular has provided a holiday donation to the organization.
The equipment will support Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor’s mission to help young people reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
The UScellular donation to the Boys & Girls Club in Cedar Rapids is among more than 50 UScellular will make to nonprofits across the country this holiday season as part of the company’s Better Together Giving Together holiday donation program. UScellular retail stores are collecting donations for local nonprofits, with details available at individual store locations.
UScellular is now part of T-Mobile.
