Injured student athletes will have easier access to treatment thanks to walk-in clinics hosted by University of Iowa Sports Medicine beginning Saturday, Aug. 26.

To avoid lingering repercussions from sports-related injuries – excluding concussions – young athletes can see a UI Sports Medicine provider every Saturday morning at UI-Healthcare Iowa River Landing in Coralville from 8-11 a.m. The clinic will run until Oct. 28.

Physical therapy and x-ray imaging will also be available at the clinic, and students ages 25 and younger are welcome to attend. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The clinic is located at 105 E. Ninth St in Coralville and located on the second floor.
