
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) approved 27 loans totaling nearly $9 million to Iowa businesses in June 2025, including several firms in the Corridor, according to newly released monthly figures.
The financing was made available through the SBA’s two largest lending programs and came from participating lenders across the state.
The SBA’s 7(a) and 504 programs helped capitalize 10 new and 27 existing businesses in Iowa last month, according to a release, issuing a total of $8,978,400 in loans for the month.
Together, the recipients reported creating 94 new jobs and retaining 260 existing positions as a result of the financing.
According to the Small Business Administration report, five Corridor businesses received Iowa SBA loans in June under the program:
- Two 20th Point, LLC of Amana received $52,000, creating three new jobs and retaining one existing job.
- Dharma Hospitality Inc. of Coralville received $350,000, retaining 11 existing jobs.
- Parkinetics Playground LLC of Hills received $148,200, creating two new jobs.
- Elite Edge Athletics LLC of Cedar Rapids received $758,800, creating two new jobs and retaining two existing jobs.
- Securetec Corporation of Cedar Rapids received $19,200, retaining three existing jobs.
