The U.S. Small Business Administration backed 33 loans for $12,369,800 to Iowa businesses in April, including three in the Corridor.
Area businesses receiving loan approvals in April included:
- A-1 Rental Inc., Cedar Rapids, $350,000;
- Andy’s Lawn Care, Cedar Rapids, $65,000;
- KCC LLC, Hiawatha, $350,000;
Corridor loan approvals totaled $765,000 in March. Corridor businesses reported retaining eight jobs and creating 17 as a result.
Statewide, the SBA 7(a) and 504 programs capitalized 18 new and 15 existing businesses that report creating 102 new jobs and retaining 157 jobs as a result.
