Ribbon cutting and open house planned for new UnityPoint clinic in Marion

UnityPoint Clinic– Tower Terrace, 3731 Irish Drive, Marion, is hosting a public open house on Wednesday, July 20, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

According to a news release, the community is invited to tour the new facility, meet providers and pickup giveaways. A ribbon cutting is also planned for 4 p.m.

The Tower Terrace clinic increases access to primary care in Marion, which UnityPoint Health identified as one of the fastest-growing communities in the metro area, according to the release. The new 11,500-square-foot facility offers family medicine and pediatric services. Patients can be seen for routine visits such as wellness exams and vaccinations as well as for non-emergent, acute illnesses.

UnityPoint Clinic– Tower Terrace will open for patients beginning August 1, and appointments can be scheduled after that date by calling (319) 206-7370. Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This new clinic in Marion is the 17th primary care location in the UnityPoint Health– Cedar Rapids region, according to the release.
