Parker Jones is the Corridor Business Journal’s newest reporter and special project manager. She was hired in May 2024 after graduating from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in journalism & mass communication and cinema, with a minor in art. Prior to her new role, she spent four years working for The Daily Iowan as a full-time college student, beginning as an arts reporter and working her way up to managing editor. She also worked with the UI School of Social Work as their student communications specialist. Previously, Ms. Jones interned as a general news reporter with the Carroll Times Herald and as a remote social media intern for Infinity Marketing, based in South Carolina.
