Networking Imaging Solutions (NIS), a 3PL facility in North Liberty, is closing its doors, according to a notice posted on the Iowa Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act website.
A total of 70 employees were notified of the closing of Networking Imaging Solutions Nov. 14, according to the notice, and the closure is effective Dec. 18.
The facility is located at 1125 240th St. NE in North Liberty.
Networking Imaging Solutions, or NIS, was founded in Davenport in 1995, according to the company’s LinkedIn page. The 3PL (third party logistics) company specializes in “transportation, logistics, supply chain and storage.”
NIS is part of Derby Supply Chain Solutions of Louisville, Kentucky, which has 15 locations across the United States.
