Trimble Inc. has selected Martin Equipment as its newest Trimble Technology Outlet, the technology company has announced.
Martin Equipment, headquartered in Goodfield, Illinois, will sell Trimble grade control and site positioning systems and correction services technology to customers using John Deere and Wacker Neuson earthmoving equipment, including dozers, excavators, motor graders, soil compactors, mini-excavators and compact track loaders.
Martin Equipment operates nine locations across Iowa, Illinois and Missouri, including a southwest Cedar Rapids location that serves Benton, Iowa, Johnson, Keokuk, Linn, Poweshiek, Tama and Washington counties. The company is also building a new facility at 7708 Sixth St. SW, which is expected to be completed soon.
Trimble Technology Outlets are part of the company’s civil construction distribution strategy, adding authorized resellers to make the technology more accessible to contractors using various equipment types.
“Martin Equipment has built a reputation for exceptional service for nearly 100 years, and we are excited to announce that service will now include the sale and support of Trimble technology for their customers in the Midwest,” said Ron Bisio, senior vice president of field systems at Trimble.
As an authorized Trimble reseller, Martin will sell the technology directly to customers in central Illinois, eastern Iowa and northeast Missouri.

Martin customers will receive installation, service and training support for the grade control solutions.

Founded in 1926, Martin Equipment is a fourth-generation, family-owned John Deere Construction & Forestry dealer with 250 employees.
