The Iowa Technology Leadership Institute (ILTI), an initiative of the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI), is opening applications for the 2023 cohort group.

Running from January to June, the program will consist of presentations, panelist discussions, small group problem-solving scenarios and one-on-one mentoring from experienced technology executives, according to a press release.

“The inaugural cohort in 2022 was an overwhelming success that connected and delivered valuable tools to the next generation of Iowa technology leaders,” said Brian Waller, president at TAI, in a statement. “TAI is excited to build on that success in 2023.”

Participants will take part in sessions across the state, including March 7-8 in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. ILTI curriculum is developed by IT executives.

In November, cloud computing and data services company Involta was selected for the 2022 cohort program.

“It is a true honor to be selected to help mentor and encourage tomorrow’s technology leaders,” Josh Holst, vice president of cloud services, said at the time in a statement. “ I look forward to supporting our industry professionals as they build on their skills and education to be the best they can be.”

Applications will be accepted from July 12 through Aug. 31 and applicants will be notified in October. 25 applicants will be accepted.

The program is presented by Principal Financial Network, Iowa State University Ivy College of Business and Involta.
