The Iowa Nonprofit Alliance (INA) is launching in Cedar Rapids.
The INA hopes to teach the eastern Iowa nonprofit community to grow and strengthen their organizations. INA had its initial launch in December 2022 and is holding regional launch events throughout Iowa in 2023.
The organization is based out of Cedar Falls, but has a Johnston, Iowa, office as well. The organization launched in Iowa City in May.
To celebrate its Cedar Rapids launch, the alliance will hold a launch event 4:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 30 in the atrium at Kirkwood Conference Center, 7725 Kirkwood Blvd. SW. Live music by Kevin Burt, hors d’oeuvres and drinks, and a short presentation about INA resources and support will take place at the event. The event is free, but does require registration. The INA is dedicated to supporting Iowa’s 23,000 nonprofit organizations through education, advocacy, and networking. Members of the Iowa Nonprofit Alliance get access to a slate of services and benefits.
