The Iowa Children’s Museum will host its first adults-only event Nov. 14, offering visitors 21 and older a chance to explore the museum after hours.
The “After Dark” event will run from 7 to 10 p.m. and will feature activities including bingo, exhibit-inspired competitions, an art studio craft, a bounce house and “Lights Out Karaoke.” Snacks, adult beverages and prizes will be available, along with photo opportunities throughout the museum’s exhibits.
“Play isn’t just for kids. Play is for everyone,” said Jeff Capps, executive director of The Iowa Children’s Museum. “After Dark is a chance for us to welcome people who may not have been to the museum in years, or maybe have never stepped inside, and invite them to experience the magic of our space while supporting our nonprofit mission.”
Tickets are $30 per person or $100 for a four-pack. Each ticket includes museum entry, activities, snacks and one drink ticket redeemable for soft drinks, wine or beer.
Tickets can be purchased online at theicm.org/event/after-dark.
The event is presented by Randstad and The Jill Armstrong Team.
