
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Iowa chapter will host its annual convention Sept. 25-26 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
The two-day event draws more than 1,000 attendees from the architecture and design community across Iowa and the Midwest.
This year’s AIA Iowa convention, titled “Resilience,” features over 150 exhibit booths, 20 educational workshops, and five keynote speakers from around the globe. Attendees can earn AIA HSW LUs, ASLA, and GBCI credits, with certificates available for interior designers and engineers upon request.
Registration for attendees opens July 7. Workshop proposals are being accepted through May 31. Sponsorships and exhibit booth reservations are currently open.
Professionals expected to attend include architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, facility managers, planners, and students from Iowa State University.
