Starting Nov. 1, Fareway Stores, Inc. will launch a month-long initiative supporting families and individuals who face food insecurity within the company’s service areas.

Customers are invited to purchase pre-bagged, SNAP-eligible food items at any Fareway location. The bags will then be delivered to local food banks or pantries near the store. Additional options include donating individual food items of choice or monetary donations earmarked for food products, with Fareway matching dollar-for-dollar.

“At Fareway, our ‘Lead with Love’ mission is more than a motto – it’s a movement,” said Reynolds Cramer, CEO of Fareway Stores, Inc. “We’re deeply grateful to our customers who join us in supporting those who need it most. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.”

Fareway has stores in Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Iowa City, North Liberty, Tiffin, Lisbon and Vinton.
