Crystal Group, Inc., a Hiawatha-based designer and manufacturer of rugged high-performance edge computing solutions, has unveiled its new brand identity elements, including a new logo and tagline.

Since 1987, Crystal Group has adopted a “zero limits” approach to building rugged computing solutions, and since the company became employee-owned in 2011, employees have continued to push boundaries, according to a release.

“Our modernized branding reflects the exciting future of Crystal Group and aligns with where we’re headed as a company,” said Crystal Group president Aaron Maue. “As we continue to advance in the rugged computing industry and as a cutting-edge tech company in the Eastern Iowa Corridor, this refreshed identity captures the spirit of who we are today and where we are going tomorrow.”

Crystal Group’s brand refresh includes several branding elements:

    • A new “powered-up” logo that symbolizes the company’s cutting-edge technology.
    • A new tagline, “Rugged Tech. Zero Limits.” that encompasses Crystal Group’s product line while also emphasizing the company’s commitment to its employee-owners and customers.
    • An updated website designed to improve every user’s experience

“Our employee-owners are truly excited for this next step in Crystal Group’s journey,” Mr. Maue said. “I’m incredibly proud of this brand refresh, which represents the passion, dedication, and innovation that our people bring every day.”

Crystal Group, Inc. provides high-performance, rugged computing solutions for defense, government, commercial and industrial markets. Founded in 1987, Crystal Group specializes in the design, customization, build and testing of rugged servers, embedded computers, networking devices, displays, and data storage for high reliability in harsh environments.

Their integrated solutions meet or exceed IEEE, IEC, and military standards, including MIL-STD-810, 167-1, 461, and MIL-S-901, bringing real-time artificial intelligence, autonomy and cybersecurity to demanding edge applications. All products are manufactured in the company’s U.S. facility, certified to ISO 9001:2015/AS9100D standards and are backed by a five-plus-year warranty.
