In 2022, the Corridor Business Journal published its first iteration of Corridor Leaders 250, an annual magazine that featured 250 profiles of the Corridor’s most influential business and community leaders.
“The Corridor is a unique region with a rich history and diverse industry and personalities,” Corridor Media Group CEO John Lohman wrote in the inaugural publication. “Our mission has always been to connect business and community leaders with each other and with valuable news and information across multiple platforms.”
“This ‘connecting’ is something we work on tirelessly, and these connections will only become more important as our region continues to grow together and the pandemic wanes,” he continued. “Providing readers with a guide of the region’s most prominent business leaders is yet another example of this commitment to connecting the region.”
In 2025, the Corridor Media Group will expand its list of profiles from Corridor Leaders 250 to IOWA 500, essentially doubling its efforts in connecting the entire state of Iowa’s business community.
More than a year in the making, our editorial team is in the midst of curating this prestigious list and compiling 500 profiles for an exclusive look at the movers and shakers shaping the economic heartbeat of Iowa — in the Corridor and beyond — with the help of the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal and the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI), leaving no stone unturned.
When this one-of-a-kind magazine hits mailboxes across the state, it will serve as a biographical guide that provides valuable insight into the people, and companies, that are shaping our state’s future.
Throughout the history of Corridor Leaders 250, the names listed have ebbed and flowed but the methodology behind the publication has largely stayed the same: We ask ourselves, who has made a palpable impact on their community through their work and their passions?
We will ask the same of our 500 statewide leaders in IOWA 500, which will be published in early 2025.
