The former Pizza Hut location at 226 Collins Rd. NE will become a cellular phone store.
Records from the Cedar Rapids Assessor’s Office say the site, in the midst of the high-traffic “Restaurant Row” along Collins Road near Lindale Mall, is identified as a “Future T-Mobile.” The deed holder is listed as Cedar Rapids Retail Management LLC, a company headquartered in Bingham Farms, Michigan. Gabriel Schuchman is listed as the company’s registered agent.
The former Pizza Hut building, opened in 1986, was demolished late last year, and construction of the new store is already well under way at the site.
