The Rink at Coral Ridge has been renamed the BODYARMOR Ice Rink under a new naming rights partnership between BODYARMOR Sports Drink and Oak View Group, the venue manager for Xtream Arena, GreenState Family Fieldhouse and the rink.
The 10-year agreement, announced Aug. 5 in a news release, is supported by Atlantic Bottling Company, the regional distributor of BODYARMOR Sports Drink, and marks the sports drink brand’s entry into Eastern Iowa’s youth hockey and skating community.
“The BODYARMOR Ice Rink represents our continued investment in providing exceptional experiences for athletes, families, and the community,” Jason Anderson, general manager of Xtream Arena, GreenState Family Fieldhouse and the BODYARMOR Ice Rink, said in a statement. “This partnership allows us to enhance our programming and services while maintaining the high standards our community expects from our facilities.”
Atlantic Bottling CEO Rob Feeney said the partnership connects the rink with one of the fastest-growing sports drink brands in the country. “We are excited to unveil the BODYARMOR Ice Rink in partnership with Oak View Group and our Eastern Iowa community,” he said.
The rink, located inside Coral Ridge Mall, offers public skating, hockey leagues, figure skating, learn-to-skate programs and private event hosting. It features NHL-regulation ice surfaces and is part of the Iowa River Landing sports and entertainment complex anchored by Xtream Arena and GreenState Family Fieldhouse.
BODYARMOR became the official sports drink of the National Hockey League in 2024.
A grand reopening of the renamed facility is planned for Aug. 23, beginning with a public event featuring free skating, activities and giveaways.
