Office Express owner Kathy Moeder says her company conducts business as an open book with customers and each other.
“We strive to ensure our customers come first and tend to view them as an extension of our sales representatives, delivery personnel, office personnel and administrative team,” she said.
Office Express’ products include anything you can find in the work setting, including furniture, office supplies, technology, janitorial and sanitation, food service, custom stamps and PPE items. Some manufacturers include HON, HP, Lexmark, Kimberly Clark, GOJO, Betco, DART, Solo, and more.
The business remained open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and following the Aug. 10 derecho.
Ms. Moeder said her priority, after ensuring the Office Express family was safe and on board, was for the team to be available when the phones rang, customer emails came in and as a lifeline to those that needed them.
“Our customer base was simply amazing, and together we reached out and worked to get PPE items and products/supplies for home delivery,” she said. “Our skilled delivery team orchestrated different routes to ensure product got delivered to home addresses, while the sales teams communicated with every customer to check in, find out their needs and take care of product needs immediately.”
