    The property housing the former Roosevelt Elementary School in Iowa City is the site of a proposed affordable housing development.

    The Iowa City City Council voted 7-0 at its meeting Sept. 2 to adopt a resolution that would amend the comprehensive plan future land use map, making way for a multi-family housing development at 611 Greenwood Dr.
