Steindler Orthopedics has announced a formal partnership with Physicians’ Anesthesia Care of Iowa City (PACIC) to provide anesthesia services at its new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in North Liberty.
According to a news release from Steindler Orthopedics, the partnership continues a longstanding and trusted relationship between two leading health care organizations in Johnson County, and “ensures a seamless and high-quality experience for patients undergoing outpatient orthopedic procedures” at Steindler’s new ASC.
“As we open the doors to our new surgical center, having PACIC as our anesthesia partner reinforces our commitment to exceptional care,” said Steindler Physician Board chair Dr. Tom Ebinger. “Their clinicians understand our practice, our patients, and our expectations for excellence. This partnership enhances patient safety, efficiency, and surgical outcomes – cornerstones of the Steindler Way.”
PACIC has been a provider of anesthesia services in the region for decades, with substantial experience supporting orthopedic and outpatient surgery.
“We are honored to continue working alongside the Steindler team as they take this next step in their evolution,” said PACIC president Dr. Jens Strand. “Our shared values around patient-centered care and clinical excellence make this partnership a natural fit. We look forward to serving the new Steindler Surgery Center patients with the same dedication and compassion we’ve provided for many years.”
The new Steindler Surgery Center features six operating suites equipped with the latest technology, including robotics, and is designed to provide lower-cost, same-day surgical options for patients in Eastern Iowa and beyond.
