What’s the biggest issue facing the Corridor, and why? As Coralville and North Liberty continue to expand, and Tiffin shows early signs of similar growth, it’s essential to highlight the unique opportunities each area in the Corridor offers. This applies to all communities in the Corridor. Showcasing these vibrant areas will help maintain strong support for local businesses and contribute to their ongoing success.

What do you consider your “big break” in your career, so far? My big breaks with both NuCara Pharmacy and Steel Therapeutics came through networking. This included grassroots fundraising backed by friends and family, college connections, and past interactions that blossomed into important relationships. I think these experiences demonstrate how networking and support can unlock new opportunities.

Who do you consider your local mentors? Shawn Roe, pharmacy manager, VetRxDirect, colleague;

Dave Collins, former UI Professor of Marketing and Sustainability, neighbor

What’s something people should know about your generation in the workplace?

People should know that my generation is incredibly tech-savvy. We’re quick to adapt to new tools and technologies, which helps drive efficiency and innovation in the workplace.

If you had $1 million to give, what causes would you support? I would support the local organizations that help bring awareness and action to our state’s environmental cleaning and preservation efforts. This includes protecting Iowa’s diverse landscapes including waterways, with the goal of connecting people to nature.

What do you want to accomplish by the time you are 50? My top priority is raising my three children to be compassionate, helpful, and generous. I’m also passionate about my work and dedicated to expanding my knowledge in the industry while enjoying the process.

What would most people be surprised to learn about you?

In my free time, I rock out on the bass guitar, all while secretly hoping that one day, my big break will come along.
