What would most people be surprised to learn about you? I lived in England for three years in high school and played rugby.
What’s the biggest issue facing the Corridor, and why? Biggest opportunity – attracting people, workers, and employers to our amazing community. We need to “sell it” more and share why this is such an amazing place to build a career and raise a family. We need to make sure our local college kids understand the opportunities they have here and that they stay.
If you had $1 million to give, what causes would you support?
Something to benefit our youth in our communities. There are so many wonderful and deserving organizations.
What are your passions outside of the workplace? Family, faith, friends, and football. I enjoy running, biking, and golfing. With two kiddos under 10, life is getting busy, but even more enjoyable to share my passions with my family.
What’s something people should know about your generation in the workplace? We're motivated, resilient, and hardworking. We appreciate flexibility, and connect better to a strong vision/purpose around the “why” of our work. We don't like to be told how to do our work, but that doesn't mean we don't appreciate accountability and/or seek out development – we want to be developed, and learn, and grow, but we need to know why and we need to believe in it.
What do you want to accomplish by the time you are 50? An established five year plan toward retirement that allows me to be fulfilled, happy, and healthy and spending more time with my family.
