Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center located in Cedar Rapids, has been awarded its sixth consecutive Certification of Compliance.

Based on the federal government’s Health Center Program Operational Site Visit Report, EIHC scored in the top 1% in the nation. Since its inception 18 years ago, EIHC has continuously received full accreditation.

“This award is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of the EIHC staff. We are proud of the work that we do and will continue to provide exceptional care to all of those in need of our services,” said Joe Lock, EIHC’s president & CEO, in a statement.

Federally Qualified Health Centers, like EICH, are the country’s largest primary care network and the health care home for 30 million Americans in more than 14,000 communities. Community health centers are a critical element of the health system, serving both rural and urban communities, often providing the only accessible and dependable source of primary care in their communities.

Eastern Iowa Health Center provides family practice, OB/GYN, pediatric, behavioral health and dental services.
