Iowa Eye Center, located in Cedar Rapids, prides itself on being “the center of all your family’s eyecare needs,” said Dr. Brian Privett, an ophthalmologist who joined the practice in 2011.
The eye care center offers patients the benefit of having all their eye care needs provided at one location.
“We put patients first,” said Dr. Privett. “Whether a child needs glasses, a college graduate is interested in LASIK, or a grandmother needs cataract surgery,” the eye center focuses on offering an array of quality care under one roof.
In fact, patients now have access to multifocal lens technology. This improved technology allows patients to see both distance and near after cataract surgery without the use of full-time glasses.
Although the pandemic forced the eye care center to pause care during its initial phase, the practice reopened last summer. With restrictions in place, the eye care center reopened to continue offering patients the quality care they have come to expect since the center opened in 1992.
“It was certainly a difficult year, but we are very grateful to our patients who continued to support us,” said Dr. Privett.
