ImOn Communications marks its 10th anniversary, and seventh appearance on the CBJ’s Best of the Corridor list this year. The Cedar Rapids-based ISP has developed a reputation for great customer service and a continually expanding high-speed network, rolling out coverage to business customers in Iowa City and Coralville within the last year. The company also provides free, ultra-fast fiber optic connections to the new MERGE Innovation Space on the Pedestrian Mall as part of a new partnership with the Iowa City Area Development Group. “We are dedicated to making connections with our customers every day, which allows us to provide a different experience from other providers,” said President and CEO Patrice Carroll.
With that in mind, the company is set to launch a new focus on cybersecurity in the year ahead. That will include an educational awareness campaign, an emphasis on data backups and the launch of new monitoring and protection solutions for customers.
